Summary:

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee business assets and operational staff. This pivotal role ensures efficient workflows and systems within the yard, logistics, and at the contractor desk, oversee inventory management, safety, and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and manage teams, focusing on accountability, strong leadership, and people skills.
• Strong systems skillset: Ability to manage data and system processes within an ERP and point of sale system within a building materials or lumber yard environment.
• Efficiency: Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet operational targets.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality standards to meet customer expectations.
• Budget Oversight: Assist in budgeting and managing costs.
• Inventory Optimization: Analyze space for efficient inventory management.
• Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and make HR decisions in collaboration with the COO.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovation: Explore new logistical innovations for enhanced facility performance.
• Safety: Maintain a safe working environment in Operations.
