By 2018, True North had already spent several years in pre-production, getting their business ready for changes to Canada’s cannabis legislation.
To open and operate, they’d need several large buildings, including a shop, site office, a processing plant, and cold storage for product. In all, the facility includes four Remuda post frame buildings:
- 100′ x 252′ x 24′
- 72′ x 72′ x 20′
- 54′ x 140′ x 20′
- 72′ x 200′ x 18′
Remuda was hired to build the facilities, collaborating with True North on the design. They added a boiler system with in-floor heating, a cooling system for cold storage, an office area, and an exterior deck for workers to enjoy.
Today, True North runs its entire operations from the facility, built entirely with Remuda post frame buildings.
